Connexus is an Australian-owned and operated business telecommunications provider founded in 1989 and based in Sydney, Australia, which primarily caters to the business sector. Connexus specializes in the business-grade phone, mobile, and NBN. Connexus is part of the MNF Group, one of Asia-Pacific’s technology companies.

A former employee from Australia shared his/her experience working for MNF Group on Seek in November 2019:

"The workforce are very rude and each department is encouraged not to work effectively with other departments. Lots of in-house gossip about other people."

NA (Former Employee) says

"A lot of workplace drama, cult like culture. Lack of training and knowledgeable support. Consistently dealing with upset customers and fixing errors. Wouldn’t work there again"

indirect loan processor (Former Employee) says

"The culture is subdued. No one talks to eachother. You spend all day plugging in info into the computer system with little interaction with anyone. The reports they use for the metrics is wrong so I would keep track of everything because they will write you up quick. My numbers fell because of a death in my family that was excused but I was supposed to keep my numbers up regardless. Nothing was prorated. I missed a week so they expected double the following week and was written up for not meeting that. Cons: Management"

Member Service (Former Employee) says

"Tellers are expected to make sales goals every month, besides all of their other duties. Most of the employees and managers were pleasant to work with. Training was improving but still not substantial enough."

Member Service Representative (Former Employee) says

"New employees are usually hired on as temps to avoid having to provide benefits. Often felt isolated from the central headquarters. Depending on branch location, days could be very slow. Cons: Slow day, Profit driven but still a non-profit"

Lending Associate (Current Employee) says

"Work day is fine. Upper management does not seem to back up workplace culture. Increases weighted high on volume. Can be stressful. Company moving to performance based on strengths."

Accounting Assistant (Current Employee) says

"My typical day is doing my daily job duties. Then going to my manager and asking for more work as the duties get done. Every week we have at least one meeting either with your team or as a credit union. Cons: Can be clicky"

says

"I worked at Connexus Cons: Did not learn much at all - I was pretty much kept in the dark the whole time and was told to do extremely menial tasks. No one who worked there seemed like they were having a great time either. It's just an office of people chugging along."

Vice President says

"I worked at Connexus Cons: Lots of re-organizations. The CEO and board are disengaged from the business. They don't have a good sense for what the company does well and what it will take for the company to do better."

Former Employee - Senior Software Engineer says

"I worked at Connexus full-time for more than a year Cons: too many ideas floating make ppl somehow lost in directions"

says

"I have been working at Connexus Cons: The downside is that it's a small company with no opportunity for growth and development. If you're looking for upward mobility, this is not the place."
